How did you get involved with DCI?
I poled some of my manufacturer representatives before I retired about potential part-time gigs with their respective manufacturers. None had any seasonal or part-time positions, however, two of those manufacturers mentioned DCI so I started a dialog with Direct Contact that lasted until my official retirement came. I joined the team at DCI and am enjoying the experience and the flexibility it allows me.
Tell us about your background:
I worked in the Agricultural and Specialty Turf fields as a salesman for 35 years. My experiences included: Ag chemical manufacturer representative with Ciba Giegy, distribution sales representative for Laverty Sprayers, Terra, ProSource One, Agriliance, and Winfield. These experiences allowed me to step into my various roles at DCI without significant retraining.
