How did you get involved with DCI?
I had been working for an animal health company and our team restructured and my position was eliminated. At the end of last year, one of my past co-workers made me aware of opportunities with DCI and I'm so glad that he did!
Tell us about your background:
After high school, I pursued a degree in veterinary technology. When I was working at a vet clinic, I got to know some of the pharmaceutical representatives who inspired me to work in sales. I took a job working for a veterinary distributor and I loved building relationships with customers. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and spent almost 20 years working in the animal health field.
What is the best thing about being a DCI Contractor?
I enjoy the challenge of being a project lead! There are so many different aspects of the job, they keep my days really interesting. This position has allowed me to utilize my skills in relationship building and customer service. I love the flexibility of working for DCI, especially with having a young family and farm.
Tell us about your home and family.

I love going to Red Dirt/Country Rock concerts. I enjoy the outdoors and going on adventures with my family. We love to hike and visit state and National Parks. I like going to Husker sporting events and College World Series baseball games. I also love getting together with family, so our children can enjoy their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
What do you do the first hour of the morning?
During the week, I get up, take a shower, make coffee and get myself and 2 little ones ready for the day. I drive my son to daycare and my daughter to preschool. On the weekends we relax and make big breakfasts with crepes, bacon, and eggs.
