Missy Rau is an Account Manager at DCI. She has progressively worked as a Client Lead for Direct Contact since 2018. Missy's quick wit, attention to detail, and deep-rooted passion for the agriculture industry have brought her many seasons of success on the DCI team. Missy's many successes in the Client Lead role made her a natural choice for the Account Manager role.
While remaining an integral part of her family's own farming operation, Missy has also had many successes in her career off the farm, including carrying out the role of an FFA Advisor as well as teaching horticulture, agronomy, farm business management, marketing, and animal science classes. After Missy's three sons graduated school, she stayed active as the Assistant FFA Advisor for several years and moved on to teach at the collegiate level, preparing students for the working world. Missy's background as an educator is evident in all that she does, allowing her to excel in her progressive roles during her time at DCI. Missy has a positive, vibrant, and professional outlook and demeanor which allow her to deliver successful outcomes for her clients and the teams that she manages. When Missy advanced to an Account Manager, she was thrilled to use her skills to exceed the expectations of both our clients and contractors. Missy thrives when she is challenged with tasks that allow her to utilize her impeccable time management and organizational skills.
Missy likes to spend time with her family, kayaking, riding bikes, reading and baking/cooking. Her favorite food is a close tie between prime rib and seafood. Someday, Missy would like to visit Alaska but for now, she and her husband enjoy touring and traveling Iowa visiting breweries and wineries.
Missy's ability to connect and clearly communicate with all parties and her passion for establishing and sharing goals allow DCI to continue to put the right people in the right place at the right time.
