Jackie Weldon is the President of the Direct Contact organization. Jackie leads the organizational teams responsible for the acquisition of new project opportunities and for the successful execution of those projects. In addition, Jackie is also responsible for ensuring DCI maintains our standard of delivering high-quality results to our clients and to provide unique and interesting challenges for our contractors who complete all the tasks on each project.
Jackie began her career with DCI as a Recruiter, where she was responsible for identifying, interviewing and engaging highly qualified individuals to work on our projects. She then moved into an Account Management role in which she was responsible for maintaining and strengthening our relationships with our clients while meeting their unique and dynamic needs. Jackie recently headed the Operations group as the Director, Operations and Vice President, Sales & Operations where she oversaw the design, implementation and management of an entirely new approach to project management at DCI.
Jackie’s 30-plus years’ experience in Agriculture has been diverse. After leaving Oklahoma State University with an Agriculture Economics Marketing and Business degree she worked in Range and Pasture, Row Crops, and Pest Control for Dow Chemical. She also has experience as a sales rep in the food industry with Ben E. Keith and most recently as a Market Contact Specialist.
Bottom Line? Jackie brings enthusiasm, a keen ability to connect, create trust, communicate clearly and build long-term relationships with customers, clients and contractors.
She is involved in Wichita Downtown Toastmasters, Kansas City NAMA chapter, Women in Agribusiness, Oklahoma State University Alumni Association and Bible Study Fellowship.
Jackie is not only passionate about her work but also her family. She loves to spend time with her high school sweetheart, Tony. After more than 30 years of marriage, they have 2 married sons, another son and daughter both attending college. Just for fun, focus and fitness Jackie runs long distances, does hot yoga and reads non-fiction!
